Janice Buswell
Janice Buswell is a multi-talented communicator, speaker, Paradoxon series novelist, and author of the six-week study Grace for the Writer's Journey and the Radical Simplicity and A Good Word blogs. In her Paradoxon book series, the beauty and depth of classic literature collide with the power of modern themes in an altogether paradoxical journey.
From a young age, Janice read everything she could get her hands on. Her mother routinely checked beneath her pillow for hidden books and tried to curb her voracious literary appetite by giving Janice unabridged classic novels several years beyond her grade level. When Janice wasn’t reading, she imagined stories taking place all around her wherever she went.
Now, Janice’s love of stories has expanded to include the stories God’s weaving in the lives of everyone she meets, and she loves leveraging both fiction and nonfiction to help God’s people understand their own lives and stories better.
When Janice is not writing, she loves to spend her time with emerging authors in one-on-one coaching, phone calls, coffee dates, speaking engagements, and through her role as co-founder of Experience Writing and the director of their yearly conference. Janice also loves working with her husband Jared to see God’s Kingdom break into people’s lives in their hometown of Tulsa and across the globe through the organizations and ministries they serve. There are few things that make her happier than seeing believers of all ages unleashed to live out and to tell the stories that only they can!
